You are cordially invited to Waterloo Regional Health Network (WRHN) inaugural Learner Onboarding Welcome Event.

As if April 1, 2025 Grand River Hospital and St. Marys General Hospital have merged and are now WRHN!

Building on over 90 years of partnership, this merger represents a continued commitment to enhancing the health-care experience through combined resources, expertise, and continued work towards including the new state-of-the-art Hospital at the University of Waterloo’s North Campus.

This event is designed to prepare you for success as you embark on your hands-on healthcare experience.

During this event you can expect:

• Introduction to Hospital Policies & Procedures: Understand the hospital’s protocols, including professionalism, safety regulations, confidentiality and infection control procedures.
• Interactive Workshops: Participate in training sessions on essential clinical skills, and learn about the tools and resources available to support your growth and success.
• Networking & Peer Connections: Meet your fellow clinical students and share experiences with others who are also navigating their placements in healthcare.
