Haven Horizons in collaboration with South East Technological University (SETU) would be delighted to invite you to our 5 Books That Could Save Your Life' event in Waterford on 10 November 2026 at 10:30 am, Tourism and Leisure Building, SETU Waterford Campus. This event is funded by the Shared Island Civic Society Fund, Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
The ‘5 Books That Could Save Your Life’ Project is a public education initiative designed to change the conversation on coercive control.

The panel will explore five powerful books that challenge how we understand coercive control, examine its links to domestic homicide, and highlight the important role men can play in preventing domestic abuse.
