This free family festival is all about celebrating our rivers and connecting children to our local water sources. Hosted by the Cumberland River Compact with support from the City of Gallatin, the City of Goodlettsville, and the City of Hendersonville, this event combines education and water-based outdoor activities for those of all ages. Attendees will learn about the importance of improving water quality in our watershed by engaging in environmental activities suitable for the entire family. Plus, there will be splashes of summer fun including two waterslides, prize giveaways, music, and a family-favorite dance party! The first 200 attendees will receive a free snow cone from a local vendor to help beat the heat.
No registration is required, however, a parent or legal guardian will need to sign a waiver before children can use the waterslides. If you plan to bring a day camp or group, please contact the Cumberland River Compact in advance to coordinate waivers. You can email [email protected].
