In this hands-on workshop students will explore the foundations of watercolour in a relaxed, encouraging atmosphere led by Clare from Tog & Pini.The lesson will focus on:
Understanding papers, brushes & paints (what matters, what doesn’t)
Wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry techniques
Creating soft blends, blooms and textures
Layering and glazing without “overworking”
Simple gum leaves / as playful practice
Participants will:
Gain confidence with brushes, water control and colour mixing
Build a mini “technique library”
Complete a small gum leaf study to take home
This workshop is a great introduction to Clare’s Native Birds in Watercolour workshop being held on the same day.
