Join Artist & Tutor Nicky to paint a delightful subject in Watercolour in the wonderful location in rural Northamptonshire
Create this painting alongside Nicky as she shows you the stages in informative demonstrations and helps you develop your skills with watercolour…….the perfect medium to capture this delightful subject.
This workshop will be focusing on using a range of greens and tonal values to create distance and depth in your painting as we describe foliage and florals expressively in the garden setting with dynamic brushwork. We will keep perspective simple as you paint Beatrix ‘ Hill Top’ home and add a figure of Miss Potter if you wish.
Nicky is an accomplished professional artist specialising in tutoring watercolour painting. She tutors guest workshops, residential painting holidays and art demonstrations for art societies throughout the UK. She uses traditional watercolour methods in a loose and lively contemporary style.
She aims to help students improve their painting skills and grow their creative flair in a productive and enthusiastic friendly environment.
Through attending regular workshops she hosts at her studio in Westbury Arts Centre Milton Keynes, Yardley Arts Northamptonshire and other locations in Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire you will surely see improvement in your artwork .
