Watercolour and wet felting workshop @ Bolton Fell and Walton Mosses NNR

Take part in a creative workshop at Bolton Fell and Walton Mosses National Nature Reserve. Working with local artists, in the morning we will create a watercolour painting of the moss followed by wet felting in the afternoon.

During the watercolour workshop, working from an autumn photograph of Bolton Fell Moss, we will start with the basics: colour, mixing paint, washes and glazes, and adding detail. Then we’ll work alongside each other on different aspects of our paintings e.g. the sky, middle ground and foreground.

After lunch, we will spend a couple of hours creating a wet felt scene of the moss.

• Arrive at 9:45am for a 10am start
• All materials are provided for the workshop
• Please bring an apron
• Tea coffee will be provided. Please bring a packed lunch.
• The workshop is suitable for people aged 16 and over. Under 18s must be with a responsible adult throughout
