Capture the peaceful beauty of a New England coastal marsh in this beginner-friendly watercolor workshop. Using soft washes, layered grasses, and reflective water, students will create their own marsh landscape inspired by the coast.
In this 2½-hour class, we’ll work step-by-step while learning basic watercolor techniques, including color mixing, wet-on-wet painting, creating reflections, and adding texture to marsh grasses. No experience is necessary, and artists of all levels are welcome.
All materials are provided, and each student will leave with a finished watercolor painting and new watercolor skills to continue exploring at home.
