This workshop will provide professional step-by-step instruction on painting a beautiful mountain landscape in the magical glow of twilight. Learn a variety of different acrylic techniques and compositional strategies for creating the effects of a softly glowing sky illuminating a distant landscape
Class Requirements
• In order to guarantee space is available, students must register in advance before the start of class
• No previous art making skills are required, just a love for art and an eagerness to learn and create!
What you'll learn
• Students will learn how to utilize acrylic paints strategically to create soft pale colors and stark silhouettes to create the illusion of a softly glowing sky.
• Students will gain a better understanding of the importance of strategically layering acrylic paints
Students will gain a better understanding of the importance of working "back to front" when developing a landscape composition
• Students will develop an increased confidence in their art making abilities
Sample Class Format
•Students will be guided step by step through each stage of the painting process. The importance of the various techniques and materials will be explained in detail as the painting progresses.
