Get into the holiday spirit and create something truly personal this season! Join me for a fun and inspiring Watercolor Holiday Cards Workshop, where you’ll design and paint three original watercolor cards to share with family and friends.About This Course
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll explore watercolor techniques such as wet-on-wet, glazing, and masking to reserve whites and build depth and texture in your artwork. I’ll provide beautiful holiday-themed reference images, and you’ll paint along step-by-step to create your own set of festive cards.
Whether you’re new to watercolor or looking to expand your creative skills, this class offers a relaxed and encouraging environment to learn, paint, and celebrate the season.
Materials
Basic materials for this class include:
140lb / 300gsm watercolor paper
Basic watercolor paint set
Watercolor brushes: rounds #4, #6, #10 or #12, and a rigger brush for details
Low-tack masking tape
Masking fluid
Black ink liner (Micron 0.3 or 0.5, or Faber-Castell equivalent)
You can make your cards simply by folding watercolor paper in half, or use ready-made watercolor postcards—both work beautifully.
