Even if you're new to watercolor painting, award-winning watercolor artist Ina Xi will teach you how to paint a loose and expressive floral still life reminiscent of old Dutch oil paintings.You will arrange fresh flowers and then get acquainted with the watercolor medium by practicing a number of fundamental washes and exercises.
Next, Ina will teach you a unique method of painting floral subject that results in a fresh yet substantial feel, painted with suggestive and bold brushworks. She will lead you through painting exercises to study the form of individual flowers.
Lastly, you will compose the floral arrangement on paper, and work through the final painting, practicing specific forms on spare sheets of paper, before committing to the final piece.
