This four- week class will focus on two bird paintings with somewhat loose abstract backgrounds. One bird will be a detailed work and the other a looser approach. Fundamentals of water management and timing as well as color blending will be reinforced in the paintings as well as through quick exercises. We will also play with a little salt and plastic cling wrap to provide texture and interest to a wash. All supplies provided.
Some experience with watercolor is recommended.
