Our subject for class is a beautiful coastal starfish painted with special metallic watercolor paints that create a shimmering ocean-inspired effect. This Beginner Class is designed for anyone who has ever had an interest in watercolor painting but didn’t know where to begin!
No experience is necessary for this class.
Class includes the following:
• First hour supply and surface information
followed by a 15-minute break
• Supplies provided for every student
• Paper with a ready-to-paint starfish pattern for every student
• Instruction on brushes, watercolor techniques,
and metallic watercolor paints
• Instruction about painting surfaces
• Hands-on instruction to learn water-to-paint ratios
• Hands-on practice exercise before painting our subject
• Step-by-step guidance throughout the painting process
• One finished metallic watercolor starfish painting for each student to take home at the end of class
