Children will explore how water moves through our environment with activities like creating watershed models and tracing a drop’s journey.
Regular admission applies. Free for infants under 12 months and Discovery Center members. Admission also lets you play all day at the Kansas Children’s Discovery Center with over 15,000 square feet of indoor educational exhibits exploring science, careers, art, building and more, plus a 4.5 acre certified Nature Explore Outdoor Classroom.
The Kansas Children’s Discovery Center is proud to present Water Wonder Days, a yearlong series of four seasonal Saturdays filled with family discovery, STEM learning, and environmental stewardship. Each event offers hands-on science experiences designed to deepen children’s understanding of water and inspire a lifelong commitment to protecting this essential resource.
Thanks to the generous support of the Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation, Water Wonder Days brings meaningful, seasonal learning experiences to Kansas families, helping children understand their role in caring for the natural world.
