Water Tasting Workshop

This workshop is where attendees get to participate in a tasting of waters available specifically in Austin from low to high TDS(total dissolved solids) to experience the difference in how water tastes as TDS increases. We will cover the basics of water and at the end of this workshop students will know how to effectively hydrate.

Key points covered:

• What are TDS? Total Dissolved Solids like potassium, silica, magnesium etc that are contained in the water that our bodies need to use to hydrate. Why are they important?
• Spring Water vs Mineral Water
• Unstructured Water vs. Structured Water
• Temperature : Iced Water vs. Room Temperature Water
• Electrolyte options
• How to care for and prepare water
• Small range of water structuring tools
• How to effectively hydrate

Printed worksheets and information sheets will be available for students to take notes and take home.
