Wasted Youth were indie chart regulars in the early 80s post-punk scene, and toured the UK with The Only Ones, the Psychedelic Furs, Toyah, Classix Nouveaux and Modern English, to name but a few. Their 1981 album ‘Wild and Wandering’ is widely considered to be an overlooked classic and has sold in excess of 25,000 copies in its lifetime. Their new album ‘Neo Noir’ was recorded over several months and features nine original compositions. Released in July (2025), ‘Neo Noir’ captures the band in exciting and vibrant form, and sounds both contemporary and fresh...but unlike anybody else.
Wasted Youth round off their most successful year since reforming with a special ‘Xmas Revisited’ show at The Lexington in Islington on Saturday, December 6, 2025.

Specially invited guests for the evening are The DeRellas, a superb ‘In ya face Rock n Roll’ band who will do their best to tear the place up!
