YFC are excited to run a series of Waste Wise Workshops - practical, hands-on sessions designed to help you repurpose, reduce and rethink waste.
Love your Leftovers
Learn how to create yummy delights with leftovers!
Join us for some fun hands on workshops where we'll explore versatile recipes to help use up leftovers from your fridge! Together, we will prepare and taste an array of recipes including tortillas, pizza and arancini plus some sweet delights. Provided by local community member Ann Gerlach.
Saturday 2 August 9-12pm - make your own arancini balls and gnocchi with sauce plus a dessert.
Saturday 6 September 9-12pm - making the most of leftover party food!
Saturday 20 September 9-12pm - making preserves, pickles and chutneys.
These workshops cannot accommodate food allergies, but we'll share tips for modifying the recipes at home.

Please Note - Children over 12 years may attend if accompanied by an adult. Participants attending with a companion card are requested to book one ticket and email [email protected] so we can reserve a place.
