Join us to celebrate the apple trees in Rowntree Park with our take on a traditional Wassail!
You can read more about what a Wassail is on our blog - basically it involves making lots of noise, and thanking apple trees. - whats not to like?
We are running children's events that includes story telling and creating noise makers and other crafts before doing the main Wassail, which includes a procession to the orchard and activities there. We are also being joined by some Morris Dancers!
This event is advertising the children's activities BUT we are likely to open the main Wassail up to all ages - keep an eye on our social media in the new year!
