Each year, we gather at Avenger Field in Sweetwater, Texas, to honor the Women Airforce Service Pilots whose courage and skill forever changed aviation and military history. Homecoming is a weekend of remembrance, celebration, and connection to the past and to the generations inspired by it.
The National WASP WWII Museum will welcome guests with free admission Friday and Saturday, inviting families and the community to explore stories, artifacts, and aircraft that preserve the WASP legacy.
This year’s Homecoming features a reimagined Rendezvous Dinner Friday night. Guests will enjoy an open-hangar evening with music, drinks, camaraderie, and special moments, including a VIP hour with Ret. Col. Katy Cosand, followed by a relaxed buffet dinner.
Saturday begins with the WASP Celebration Brunch, followed by a moving memorial service honoring two WASP whose ashes will be laid to rest on the field where they once trained. Later, don’t miss WASP in the Spotlight with KOW’s at 1 p.m. in Hangar 1.
Families and young aviators can explore our expanded Cadet Zone, featuring hands-on STEM activities, flight simulations, and experiences from partners like the Roscoe Collegiate ISD STEM Bus.
Homecoming is a weekend of tribute, fellowship, and inspiration, where stories are shared, friendships are renewed, and the WASP legacy is passed forward.
Tickets for the Rendezvous and Celebration Brunch are nonrefundable.
