Join Washoe County Parks staff and Roger Putnam, professor of geology at TMCC, guidebook author and researcher for little local geology. We'll explore the rocks of Hidden Valley Regional Park on a short hike on the Highland Loop Trail. The trail is moderately challenging, so we recommend hiking boots and don't forget your sunscreen/sun hat/sunglasses! We'll meet near the Link Piazzo Dog Park, use the Parkway Drive entrance to the park.
