Grumpy Old Men: The Musical is a stage adaptation of the 1993 film, with a book by Dan Remmes, music by Neil Berg, and lyrics by Nick Meglin, following feuding neighbors Max and John who become romantic rivals for a new neighbor, Ariel. The show premiered in 2018 at the Ogunquit Playhouse and features a score with humorous songs and a story that captures the spirit of the original movie
