Zapraszamy na wyjątkowe warsztaty prowadzone przez Alaknandę Dasguptę, uznaną tancerkę i nauczycielkę kathaku z Indii, która od ponad 40 lat dzieli się swoją wiedzą i doświadczeniem z uczniami na całym świecie.

12:30 - 14:30 – Choreografia II - Tarana
Każdy blok warsztatowy obejmuje inną choreografię i może być realizowany niezależnie.
Nie jest wymagane wcześniejsze doświadczenie w tańcu indyjskim. Jednocześnie osoby, które miały już okazję poznać kathak lub inne indyjskie style taneczne, mogą łatwiej odnaleźć się w pracy z choreografią i rytmem charakterystycznym dla tej tradycji.
O prowadzącej:
Alaknanda jest absolwentką Kathak Kendra – Narodowego Instytutu Kathaku w Indiach, założycielką Alaknanda Institute for Performing Arts oraz laureatką wielu prestiżowych nagród w dziedzinie tańca klasycznego. Od ponad trzech dekad prowadzi działalność edukacyjną i artystyczną, organizując warsztaty, spektakle i festiwale w Indiach oraz za granicą, m.in. w Polsce, Wielkiej Brytanii, Francji, Singapurze i na Węgrzech.

Join us for a special Kathak workshop led by Alaknanda Dasgupta, an acclaimed dancer and teacher from India who has been sharing her knowledge and passion for classical arts for over forty years.
An event held under the honorary patronage of the Indian Embassy in Warsaw, organized with the support of Sattva Ayurveda and IPPCI Indo-Polish Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Schedule:
10:00 AM – 12:00 PM – Choreography I - Adhuram Madhuram
12:30 PM – 2:30 PM – Choreography II - Tarana
Each session focuses on a different choreography and may be attended separately.
No previous experience in Indian dance is required. At the same time, participants who have already had the opportunity to explore Kathak or other Indian dance styles may find it easier to navigate the choreography and rhythm characteristic of this tradition.
About the teacher:
Alaknanda is a graduate of Kathak Kendra, India’s National Institute of Kathak Dance, founder of the Alaknanda Institute for Performing Arts, and recipient of numerous awards for her contribution to classical arts. For more than three decades she has been teaching, performing and conducting workshops internationally, including in Poland, the United Kingdom, France, Singapore and Hungary.
