ORIGINS:
Three genres united by cutting-edge music technology—samplers, synthesizers, and drum machines—creating sounds and rhythms beyond traditional instruments. Most importantly, they thrive within the inclusive club and rave culture, with the dance floor as their centerpoint.
Techno: Born in Detroit in the 1980s, inspired by European electronic music, Kraftwerk, and American funk and disco.
Electro: Emerged in New York and Detroit, blending Kraftwerk’s influence with funk and hip-hop.
Drum’n Bass: Originated from the British rave and jungle scene of the early 1990s, drawing from reggae, dub, and breakbeat.
VENUE:
The event is hosted as guest in cooperation with Scena Chmielna club in the heart of Warsaw, at the former Powiększenie, once the epicenter of Warsaw’s independent music scene.

Hello Warsaw!
I’m Michael Knight, also known as Soul Beat Runner, an expert and specialist in the history of Jungle / Drum & Bass music. I grew up in London and I’ve been a vinyl collector and DJ of quality atmospheric D&B since the early 90’s.
I was lucky enough to attend the classic party’s that shaped Drum & Bass music like Metalheadz at the Blue Note and DJ Fabio’s club night Swerve. During my career I worked in many iconic record shops and record companies which gave me exclusive access to all the greatest music pressed on vinyl. I still buy all my new music on vinyl and if it’s not available I have dubplates cut for me at Planet Wax records in London.
Throughout my life in music I’ve DJ’d with artists like Goldie, DJ Flight, Fracture, DJ Krust, and Presha for example, both in the UK and across Europe. I’ve performed in Warsaw once before alongside DJ Swan-e and I’m actually half Polish! So this party is going to be very special for me. Every record I spin has to be only the best I can think of, to move and groove you. I play emotional music with the highest energy. I believe Drum and Bass to be the most powerful electronic music in the world and I can’t wait to demonstrate this with you at Nowy Świat 27A, Warsaw on the 16th of November, 2024

MDMS is a DJ, live performer, and producer based in Warsaw & Brussels. He explores techno and beyond in hybrid sets, blending his productions with genre classics, contemporaries, sounds, effects, live interventions, and visuals.
MDMS, also known as Mark Deadmus or Musiol, has experimented with different genres of electronic music, from electroacoustic and concrete to industrial, dark electro, synth pop, and techno.
He has released seven albums under his various projects, including Rh+ [a joint of audiovisual performers] and Das Moon, and has been touring for over a decade in clubs and venues across Poland, Germany, Italy, Austria, and Belgium.
He has performed at major European festivals such as Electronic Beats, Mayday, Wave Gotik Treffen, Castle Party, and Heineken Open’er, sharing the stage with artists like Westbam, Squarepusher, James Blake, Jazzanova, Front Line Assembly, Psychic TV, and many others. He has remixed tracks by Eugeniusz Rudnik and Carl Craig.

A producer and performer of electronic music, he remains true to the principle of playing live and recording in single takes. This authenticity makes his modular synthesizer performances stand out in the club music scene. Klar Kinelis is primarily active in Warsaw's independent electronic music scene. His music oscillates between deep/dub sounds and strong analogue techno. In 2023 he released the album "Sulphur" under the label Trofika Records. In 2015-2016 - a resident of Live Act Bar, in 2016-2020 a resident of Świetlica and from 2024 he was a resident of Tea With Electricity. Since 2023, he has been running the Love🖤Act series at Teatr Powszechny, continuing his mission to share his musical passion for live acts.

Anna de Synth lives in Warsaw, but was born and raised in 19th century Pianopolis, a land full of pianos playing Chopin and Debussy. One day she decided to teleport and suddenly appeared in the year 2022 on the planet Synth. It was full of machines and computers making the strangest sounds she had ever heard, and she loved the place from the start. As she travelled, she jammed at synth jams and played in electro duos. In the summer of 2024 a new adventure began. She created a cinematic ambient that combined electronic sounds and her roots - the piano. It turned out that the right ambient could plant a tree in Techno Las or heat up your Sunday Tea with Electricity. Now it's time to see if it can dance.
