🗓️ Zapraszamy do udziału w warsztacie i przedstawieniu pt. „Na odwrocie fotografii, w lewym dolnym rogu, widnieje to wszystko, czego nie mogę zapomnieć o mojej matce” w reżyserii Alina Uberti. Oba wydarzenia odbędą się 5 listopada w Instytucie Teatralnym. Wstęp na warsztat jest bezpłatny – na zapisy czekamy do 22 października. Bilety na spektakl w cenie 25 i 35 zł dostępne są na stronie Instytutu oraz Goout.net.
Warsztat towarzyszy prezentacji spektaklu pt. „Na odwrocie fotografii, w lewym dolnym rogu, widnieje to wszystko, czego nie mogę zapomnieć o mojej matce” (reż. Alin Uberti), którego premiera odbyła się w La Mama Experimental Theatre Club w Nowym Jorku. Jest to wspólnotowe doświadczenie, w którym narracja na temat emigracji przeplata się z tęsknotą. Warsztat odbędzie się w godzinach 𝟭𝟭:𝟬𝟬-𝟭𝟯:𝟬𝟬, a spektakl o 𝟭𝟵:𝟬𝟬 w Instytucie Teatralnym.
Podczas dwugodzinnego warsztatu, który poprowadzi reżyser i dramaturg Alin Uberti, stworzymy przyjazną przestrzeń, w której historie posłużą jako spoiwo zbliżające do siebie uczestników. Rozpoczniemy od pracy stricte teatralnej, by bliżej się poznać, a następnie przeprowadzimy ćwiczenia pisarskie. Skupimy się na sztuce „dramaturgii list” – unikalnej metodzie teatralnej, w której proste wyliczenia przeobrażają się w rozbudowane opowieści o wspólnych doświadczeniach i przeżyciach. W ostatniej części spotkania skoncentrujemy się na stworzeniu monologu z wykorzystaniem słów, fraz i obrazów zaczerpniętych z przygotowanych wcześniej list oraz fotografii przyniesionych przez uczestników (osoby zapisane na warsztat zostaną poproszone o zabranie ze sobą starej fotografii, o której chcieliby opowiedzieć grupie).
Praca z listami pomaga uwolnić szczere i osobiste pisanie, które będzie tematem ostatniej części warsztatu. Jeden z monologów stworzonych podczas warsztatu zostanie zaprezentowany przez jego autora podczas spektaklu.
👤 Alin Uberti jest reżyserem teatralnym i filmowym oraz dramaturgiem pochodzącym z Bukaresztu. Doświadczenie zawodowe zdobywał w kraju i poza granicami Rumunii, reżyserując utwory dramatyczne i postdramatyczne. Jego preferowaną metodą pracy teatralnej jest proces, który angażuje, obejmując konkretne przestrzenie i tematy. W swojej praktyce dokonuje współczesnej adaptacji klasycznych tekstów, pracuje metodą postmodernistycznego kolażu i jest zwolennikiem teatru demokratycznego, równościowego i kolektywnego oraz pełnego humoru. Jego język sceniczny jest często klasyfikowany jako cyberpunkowy, multimedialny, absurdalny, lokalny i skierowany do młodych odbiorców. On sam woli myśleć o swojej twórczości jako wywodzącej się z napięcia, które powstaje, gdy pada stwierdzenie, że poezja ma charakter polityczny.

„Na odwrocie fotografii, w lewym dolnym rogu, widnieje to wszystko, czego nie mogę zapomnieć o mojej matce” – spektakl

Bezpośrednio po rewolucji 1989 roku wielu Rumunów postanowiło nie czekać, aby przekonać się, co stanie się z ich krajem. Potrzebowali dystansu. Opuścili ojczyznę i osiedlili się w innych krajach, szukając czegoś więcej niż tylko niedostatków ostatniej dekady komunizmu – braku jedzenia, ciepła i wolności. Dzisiaj, 35 lat później, podczas gdy warunki życia w Rumunii poprawiły się, odczuwalny jest inny brak. Brak tych, którzy jeszcze nie powrócili. Te osoby wysyłają pieniądze do domu, głosują i dzwonią, ale są nieobecne w rumuńskiej codzienności. Nasz spektakl jest doświadczeniem wspólnotowym, które opowiada historię nieobecnych – ich poszukiwań, radości, bólu i dystansu. Jest to historia, którą da się opowiedzieć w pełni tylko dzięki obecności tych ludzi na scenie. To także historia nieprzetłumaczalnego słowa “dor”, które jest bliskie sercu każdej osoby narodowości rumuńskiej – opowiada o tym wszystkim, czego nie jesteśmy w stanie zapomnieć.

Spektakl powstał w ramach projektu Poduri (Mosty) łączącego rumuńską diasporę mieszkającą w Nowym Jorku, Berlinie, Madrycie, Rzymie, Mediolanie, Warszawie, Lizbonie i Paryżu. Premiera odbyła się 7 września 2024 roku, a następnie spektakl był pokazywany w berlińskim Volksbühne, w Atelier Montez w Rzymie, w Casa Cardinale Ildefonso Schuster w Mediolanie, w Teatro de los Aguas w Madrydzie i w Théâtre de l’Opprimé w Paryżu.
Projekt powstał przy wsparciu finansowym z Biura Administracji Narodowego Funduszu na rzecz Kultury (ANCF). ANCF nie odpowiada za wyniki projektu, za co wyłączną odpowiedzialność ponosi beneficjent.

🗓️ We would like to invite you to a workshop and performance entitled On the back of the photograph, lower left corner, lies everything I can’t forget about my mother directed by Alin Uberti. Both events will be held on 5 November at the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute, 1 Jazdów, Warsaw. Participation in the workshop is free – registration is open until 22 October. Tickets to the performance (PLN 25 and 35) are available at Goout.net.
The workshop accompanies the performance entitled "On the back of the photograph, lower left corner, lies everything I can’t forget about my mother" (directed by Alin Uberti) which premiered on 7 September 2024 at La Mama Experimental Theatre Club in New York. The performance is a shared, participatory experience where the narrative of emigration and longing intertwine. The workshop will be held from 𝟭𝟭:𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼 𝟭𝟯:𝟬𝟬 and the performance will start at 𝟭𝟵:𝟬𝟬 at the Zbigniew Raszewski Theatre Institute.
The 2-hour workshop, run by Alin Uberti, director and playwright, will offer a welcoming space where stories serve as a bond that brings us closer together. We will begin with theatre-specific exercises to break the ice, which will be followed by engaging writing activities. Our focus will be on the art of the ‘dramaturgy of lists’ — a unique theatrical approach where simple lists blossom into rich tapestries of shared experiences and memories. The final part of the workshop will concentrate on writing a monologue using the words, phrases, and images from the lists made earlier at the earlier stages of the workshop and a photograph that each participant is expected to bring (workshop participants are asked to bring with an old photograph that you would like to tell the group about).
The exercise related to lists helps our minds loosen up to create a more sincere, a more personal narrative in the final part of the workshop. One of the monologues created in the workshop will be performed during the performance by its author.
👤 Alin Uberti is a theatre and film director and playwright from Bucharest, Romania. He has national and international experience in directing dramatic and postdramatic theatre. His preferred working method is a devising theatre process that involves but is not limited to, site-specific venues and themes, contemporary adaptation of classic texts, postmodern collage, a democratic, equal and collective approach to creation and lots of jokes. Contrary to his intention, his work has been characterized as cyberpunk, multimedia, absurd, local, aimed at young audiences. In turn, he likes to think of his work as coming from within the tension that arises when you admit that poetry is political.

Immediately after the 1989 revolution, many Romanians chose not to wait and see what would become of their country. They needed distance. They uprooted themselves and settled in other lands, seeking more than the deprivations of the last decade of communism — the absence of food, warmth, and freedom. Today, 35 years later, while living conditions in Romania have improved, a new absence lingers. The absence of the bodies that have not yet returned. These Romanians send money home, vote, and call us, but their presence is missing in contemporary Romania. This performance is a participatory experience that tells the story of these absent bodies — their searches, joys, pains, and their distance. It is a story that can only be fully told with the presence of these bodies on stage. A story of an untranslatable word “dor” that Romanians hold in their hearts. A story about everything we cannot forget.
