Warsaw Book Club - "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck

Yoyo, we'll be skipping the August meeting as I'll be out.
For September 2026's full length novel, we have "East of Eden" by John Steinbeck. A family saga novel, Steinbeck seems to have considered it his magnum opus, saying "It has everything in it I have been able to learn about my craft or profession in all these years"; and "I think everything else I have written has been, in a sense, practice for this."
More importantly, someone during our last meeting said it's the best book ever.
