The Warrior Surf Ruckathon is more than a fundraising event—it’s a way to walk shoulder-to-shoulder in support of those who’ve served. And it's a perfect way to connect people to the values we stand for while making a tangible impact on veterans’ lives 💪
What is Rucking?
Rucking is simply walking while carrying weight in a backpack, also known as a "rucksack". This low-impact exercise, inspired by military training routines, is a fun and healthy way to honor our veterans. So, throw some rocks in a backpack, and join us!
I'm in! How do I sign up?
Sign up at https://warriorsurf.rallyup.com/c/ruckathon-participant-page– Participants of all ages and levels are encouraged to participate.
Whether it’s carrying 15 lbs or 100 lbs, we welcome all levels of rucking experience—from beginners to seasoned vets!
Our Ruckathon will follow the 1.4 mile loop in James Island County Park – starting at the Wappoo Shelter.

Pre-Party:
Swing by Palmetto Brewing on February 28th from 5-7:30PM (open to public)
Check in and get your t-shirt & Ruckathon #. Grab a beer or food, and meet the Warrior Surf gang.
After-Party:
We'll be hosting an after-party the evening of March 1st on James Island.
We'll have prizes for the most laps rucked, as well as the most amount of donations raise (in total). We'll also be announcing our Raffle Prize winners.
