What is Cuban Salsa?

Cuban Salsa, also known as Casino, is an irresistible style of salsa. It differs from linear salsa by its three-point foundation and focus on communal joy rather than slot-based movements. The group version, Rueda de Casino, is where several couples dance based on moves being called by one person. The caller will announce different Cuban Salsa patterns that might involve switching partners, clapping, yelling, stomping, or just about any movement your creative mind can think of. Everyone in the circle is doing the same moves at the same time making this a fantastically fun group activity! A basic understanding of Salsa is recommended. Couples and singles are all welcome!
