About this Event
In this hands-on class, students will create bold, expressive portraits inspired by the work of Andy Warhol. We’ll explore his creative process, including the use of repetition, graphic contrast and striking color combinations, and discuss how his work transformed ordinary faces into unforgettable works of art.
Participants will design portraits of themselves or others using Pop Art techniques that emphasize individuality and visual impact. By the end of the class, each student will have a finished portrait that captures the spirit of Warhol’s approach—celebrating self-expression through color, pattern and style. No prior experience required— just bring your creativity and have fun turning a portrait into a pop art statement.
