The Golden Ghoul 2025Warhammer Aberdeen: Saturday October 18th
11am - 4pm
The Golden Ghoul returns to Warhammer Aberdeen once again this year and will be held in store a little earlier than normal on Saturday the 18th October.
This years event will be a part of a month of amazing hobby where customers will come together to share their love of Warhammer and take part in some fantastic activities every Saturday in October.
So what are the rules for this years painting event?
This year the event will be held on Saturday the 18th of October and will be for all our customers to come along and take part in.
This year we have split the event into two categories, STANDARD and MASTERS. For those who have yet to win a Golden Ghoul or Golden Troll or have TWO or less trophies you may enter the public voted STANDARD category. If you have THREE or more trophies you MUST enter the MASTERS category. Both STANDARD and MASTERS Categories are the same so entrants must decide which they are entering but must put ALL entries into one or the other. The exception to this is the Challenge Category and Diorama categories, which anyone can enter.
STANDARD / MASTERS
• Best 40K Single Miniature
• Best Warhammer 40,000 Unit or K*ll Team
• Best Warhammer 40,000 Vehicle
• Best Warhammer 40,000 Large Miniature
• Best Age of Sigmar Single Miniature
• Best Age of Sigmar Unit, Warcry or Underworlds Warband
• Best Age of Sigmar Large Miniature
• Best Middle Earth
• Best Duel
• Best Warhammer Age of Darkness
• Best Warhammer The Old World
• Best Of The Rest (this will include Epic Scale, Necromunda, and Blood Bowl).
Categories Open to All:
• Best Diorama
• The Golden Pumpkin Challenge Model (ask staff for more details. This category can be entered by all participants).
Additional Category:
• Youngbloods: Single Miniature, Unit and Large Miniature are all available as part of the Standard open vote category.
Entries for this event can be handed in from Monday the 21st of October but must be in by closing time Friday the 13th October. The event on the Saturday will begin at 11am and voting will start then. Entries may not be handed in on the day as we will have a new voting system in place for this event and all entries MUST be handed in by the Friday before the event.
