Join a NE Ranger for a walk to look for our amazing local fungi and hear about their ecology!What do fungi do for us? Why have they had such an impact on our folklore and culture and how best should we look after them? Try out some identification skills with brightly coloured and wonderful waxcaps of Haddo lawns and then move out into the wider estate. Hear about carnivorous fungi and those which inhabit their hosts' bodies. This walk is for ages 16 and over and includes a coffee or tea in the Courtyard Café.
