One Warm Coat’s mission is to provide free coats to children and adults in need while promoting volunteerism and environmental sustainability.
TO ENTER:
Each team member donate a coat. Prefer new coats, but used coats okay if gently used... however must be clean: no stains or holes!
ARMY CONSTRUCTION:
A team is composed of 2 separate 1000 point rosters, each 1000pt roster is constructed as per 11th edition rules. The newest Balance Dataslate is in effect. Both rosters will combine to create a single force.
Force: The combined armies of a pair of players.
Unified Force: A force where both armies have all the same faction keywords in common.
Force of Convenience: Any force which is not a unified force.
ARMY AND DETACHMENT RULES
In a unified force, the force uses its army rules as if it were a single army.
Otherwise, each army within a force uses its own army rules. In a unified force, if both players have chosen the same detachments, the force uses its detachment rules as if it were a single army. Otherwise, each player’s detachment rules can only affect enemy units and units in their own army (even in a unified force).
LIST BUILDING
EPIC HERO units, datasheets that cannot be included more than once in your army, enhancements, and any other ‘once per army’ items cannot be included more than once across both armies within a team.
A particular Upgrade can be included more than once in a player’s army following the usual muster armies rules, but cannot be included in both armies in a team.
Each team selects one CHARACTER model from either army to be their team’s WARLORD.
Each team selects one Force Disposition card available to either of the armies in that team and records that on their roster.
In the case of teams where each player chooses the same faction in a unified force, the RULE OF THREE is in effect for units across both 1000pt rosters, with the exception of BATTLE LINE choices. *For example, both players in the team cannot take three of the same unit, however one teammate can take one and the other can take two of that same unit.
Please upload rosters to BCP, one team member will sign up in BCP as the captain. Include the name of the teammate in BCP.
SCORING:
Battle points earned by each team member are combined based on Mission Primaries and Tactical Secondaries. Team captain will input the teams combined battle points into BCP at the end of each round.
COMMAND POINTS and STRATEGEMS:
The team only generates 1 CP per Command phase as a single army would under normal circumstances. Teammates share the combined CP pool.
During your games, change all references of “player” to “team”. So anything that is once per player is once per team. The same Stratagem cannot be used more than once during the same phase.
DEPLOYMENT:
During deployment teams alternate deploying, and each team deploys two units (one per player) to speed up set up.
MISSIONS:
Each team finds their opponents’ Force Disposition symbol on their Force Disposition card. The Primary Mission that is listed below that symbol is that team’s Primary Mission, which describes how to score VP.
Primary points may be scored by either (or both) teammates.
AWARDS:
Best Generals: This team has the highest total battle score.
Best Theme: The team with the coolest faction combo. Army could be painted to match, or elements that make the two halves of the team more cohesive.
