Warhammer 40,000 - Escalation League - BUFORD

Join our Warhammer 40,000 League in our Buford location with a focus upon helping to teach you the ropes and build up to competitive play!
About this Event

Join us for a Warhammer 40,000 Escalation League featuring a 500-point start, a 750-point build, and a 1,000-point finish! This activity encourages everyone to collect, build, paint, and play with an army over a period of time. Our goal is to foster fair play and camaraderie. Come and learn 11th edition with other like-minded hobby and Games Workshop enthusiasts!

Pairings will be managed via Best Coast Pairings. The League will last for a total of 3 rounds. The source email for all game-related issues will be [email protected].

Format Details

• Army must remain the same throughout the League (e.g., if you start with Necrons, you play Necrons every round).
• No unique characters will be allowed.
• No Titanic units will be allowed.
• All armies will have three (3) Detachment Points (DP) for each of the three rounds of play. Players are encouraged to use what they feel is necessary for their round of play!
• All participants will receive a full sheet of transfers, a combat gauge, objective tokens and battle markers for participating (to be picked up from Buford management).
• Additional prizing may be detailed based upon number of players/participation!
• A waitlist may be entertained based upon public response!
• Players completing ALL rounds of play (3 games, ending September 20th) will be awarded a 15% off discount of ONE miniature item of their choosing! This is a great way to expand a future force, get a new hobby item, etc.

Rounds of Play

• 500 Points: July 11th through August 8th
• 750 Points: August 9th through August 29th
• 1,000 Points: August 30th through September 20th

Desired Day of Hosting

We would love to see games take place on Saturdays, but we know that Leagues have to function based upon the schedules of its player base. If there is a default day of play, though, it would be Saturdays.
