Blue Monday Concerts return to Mystic River Park for four free concerts beginning Monday July 6th, 6:00 PM to 8:00PM. The concert series is a fundraiser for the Stonington Education Fund and the Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center. Join us for the kick off of the Blue Monday 2026 series with Ward Hayden & The Outliers. Monday evenings in the Mystic River Park, once again the place to picnic and enjoy great live music (family friendly, no alcohol).

The story of “Little by Little,” the new album by Ward Hayden & The Outliers, began like so many Bruce Springsteen songs do: in a car with the radio on, hurtling down a highway, headed for distant destinations. Except that instead of one of Hayden’s longtime favorites like Hank Williams taking him on a journey through the airwaves, it was a voice whose sour rhetoric rubbed him the wrong way and ultimately inspired action.
