The War of Special Forces is being hosted by Sumter Bible Church and Sumter Christian school. Evangelist Jim Van Gelderen will be speaking in Sunday School, morning worship, and evening worship on Sunday, November 3rd. Additionally, there will be a chapel every school day in the morning as well as another afternoon time where either competition or team meetings take place. There are also three rally nights (Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday) that are evangelistic.
The week of activities is geared to teenagers from grades 6-12th. Students from SCS and the community will be divided into three teams – Incredible Rangers, Super Seals, and Mighty Marines. Each team is led by one of the team members who is college age.
While on campus, the War team holds intense camp-type competitions: Big-Ball volleyball, Big-Ball Basketball, Big-Ball Bowling, spoke tackle, etc. All these competitions are teen tested and are a blast!
