The Origins (2001-2009)
The NERUMIA project was officially born in 2001 in the Swiss mountains, the fruit of a collaboration between Pasquale "Scual" Rivetti and Philippe "Phil" Privet. The duo made their mark on the scene with two albums: The Land of the Black (2003) and I Don't Understand (2007). However, the band's rise was brutally interrupted by the sudden death of Phil Privet in 2009, plunging the project into a ten-year hiatus.
Rebirth and Tribute (2020-Present)
In 2020, a new lineup emerged with the arrival of Magnus and Juan. Fate struck again with the tragic loss of Juan in 2022.
Refusing to let silence win, the group chose to honor his memory by completing the album Senza Realtà (2023), integrating the guitar solos he had recorded. Today, NERUMIA has returned to a trio format with the arrival of Adrien, ready to write the next chapter of their history with the album Aliénation.

Međutim, uspon benda naglo je prekinut iznenadnom smrću Phila Priveta 2009. godine, što je projekt gurnulo u desetogodišnju stanku.
Ponovno rođenje i posveta (2020 – danas)
Godine 2020. formirana je nova postava dolaskom Magnusa i Juana. Sudbina je ponovno umiješala prste tragičnim gubitkom Juana 2022. godine. Ne želeći dopustiti da tišina prevlada, grupa je odlučila odati počast njegovoj uspomeni dovršetkom albuma Senza Realtà (2023), u koji su uvrstili gitarske soloe koje je on prethodno snimio. Band Carcharodon, koji su 2003. godine osnovala braća Boggio i Pixo, već više od dvadeset godina prkosi žanrovskim granicama.
Započevši kao moćni trio, band je izgradio prepoznatljiv zvuk spajanjem sirove agresije death metala stare škole i death ’n’ rolla s razornom težinom sludge dooma i neumoljivom brzinom thrasha. Njihov debitantski album Macho Metal iz 2008. godine odmah je naišao na pohvale kritike i lansirao bend na međunarodne pozornice diljem Europe i SAD-a. Taj se zamah nastavio albumom Roachstomper (Altsphere Production) iz 2013. i split izdanjem Pizza Commando (Revalve Records) iz 2014, čime su učvrstili reputaciju benda koji neumorno nastupa uživo. Razvoj banda krenuo je u žešćem smjeru dolaskom bubnjara Nuzzija, čiji su utjecaji hardcorea i grinda unijeli novu žestinu u postavu. Iz tog su razdoblja proizašli moćni album Bukkraken (Argonauta Records, 2018.) i remek-djelo Sbhorror (Vacation House Recordings) iz 2023, uz razna split izdanja i kompilacije snimaka uživo. Sada, 2026. godine, Carcharodon se vraća sa svojim dosad najambicioznijim albumom. Snimljeno u istoj moćnoj postavi kao i prethodna dva albuma, novo izdanje pod nazivom „Never on your side” najbrže je i najintenzivnije u njihovoj karijeri, spremno da se obruši na publiku. Carcharodon je sada stariji, ružniji i definitivno brži. Moćni trio vraća se s najbržim i najžešćim poglavljem svoje dvadesetogodišnje ostavštine. Two Decades of Sonic Brutality
Founded in 2003 by brothers Boggio and Pixo, Carcharodon has spent over twenty years defying genre boundaries. Starting as a power trio, the band forged a signature sound by blending the raw aggression of Old School Death Metal and Death ’n’ Roll with the crushing weight of Sludge Doom and the unrelenting speed of
Thrash. Their 2008 debut full-length, Macho Metal, garnered immediate critical acclaim, launching the band onto international stages across Europe and the USA. This momentum continued with 2013’s Roachstomper (Altsphere Production) and the 2014 split Pizza Commando (Revalve Records), cementing their reputation as a relentless touring force. The band’s evolution took a sharper turn with the arrival of drummer Nuzzi, whose Hardcore and Grind influences injected new ferocity into the lineup. This era produced the heavy-hitting Bukkraken (Argonauta Records, 2018) and the 2023 masterpiece Sbhorror (Vacation House Recordings), alongside various splits and live compilations. Now, in 2026, Carcharodon is back with their most ambitious record to date. Recorded by the same powerhouse lineup of the last two albums, this new release called “Never on your side” is the fastest and most intense of their career, ready to be unleashed upon the masses. An old-school heavy/thrash metal band from Zagreb, founded in late 2014.
Members and lineup changes:
The band was founded by Željko Struški "Žac" (guitar + lead vocals), Krešimir Rajković "Kera" (bass + backing vocals), and Mirko Novak "Jim" (drums)—now a former member. Jim was successfully replaced by Dalibor Skadarka "Kljus," who was in turn replaced by Alen Dumenčić in late 2017; Mateo Češković would later take his place in 2020. In 2022, another guitarist—Mihael Mikac—joined the band. In the second half of 2024, Robert Mahović "Maha" took over the bass position from Krešimir Rajković "Kera." In late 2025, Željko Struški took over the bass position, Robert Mahović "Maha" left the band, and Josip Bukovščak took over as rhythm guitarist.
In mid-2026, Mihael Mikac stepped down as guitarist and left the band, leaving Josip Bukovščak as the sole guitarist. At the same time, Željko Struški "Žac" took over the bass position.
The idea was to create a straightforward metal (heavy, thrash) band without genre limitations, featuring lyrics primarily in Croatian. (The band is currently working on a new album scheduled for release in 2026, featuring lyrics in English.)
On October 3, 2016, the band released an EP titled "Impetus" via the Miner Records label, featuring four tracks. The full-length album titled "Surovo i sirovo" was released in May 2018 and contains nine songs. The current album, titled "Metal infekcija" (featuring 8 new tracks), was released in May 2022.

Krešimir Rajković - Kera (bas + prateći vokal) i Mirko Novak - Jim (bubnjevi) - sada bivši član kojeg je uspješno zamijenio Dalibor Skadarka-Kljus, a njega, krajem 2017., Alen Dumenčić, dok će
Mateo Češković zauzeti njegovo mjesto 2020. godine. Godine 2022. bandu će se pridružiti još jedan gitarist - Mihael Mikac.
U drugoj polovici 2024. umjesto Krešimira Rajkovića-Kere, poziciju basista preuzima Robert Mahović-Maha. Krajem 2025. poziciju basista preuzima Željko Struški, a Robert Mahović Maha napušta band, dok Josip Bukovščak preuzima poziciju ritam gitarista.
Sredinom 2026. Mihael Mikac napušta poziciju gitariste i odlazi iz benda, te je od tada jedini gitarista Josip Bukovščak.
Ujedno, Željko Struški-Žac preuzima poziciju basiste.
Ideja je bila napraviti bazični metal (heavy, thrash) band, bez ograničenja unutar žanra, s tekstovima uglavnom na hrvatskom jeziku. (Band trenutno radi na novom albumu koji bi trebao izaći 2026. godine, s tekstovima na engleskom jeziku.) Teme pjesama su mitologija i čudovišta iz gaming svijeta, krv, smrt, borba i slično. Glazba je po uzoru na bandove kao što su Bathory, Destroyer 666, Sarcofago, Vulcano, Goatwhore, Absu i drugi. Bend je nastao 2021, a 2024. su izbacili prvi album imena "Wild Hound", Trenutno rade na drugom albumu koji uskoro izlazi.
A three-piece band from Zagreb featuring aggressive riffs, plenty of blast beats, occasional slower sections, touches of melody, and brutal vocals. Their lyrics cover themes such as mythology and monsters from the gaming world, blood, death, combat, and the like. Their music is inspired by bands such as Bathory, Destroyer 666, Sarcofago, Vulcano, Goatwhore, Absu, and others.
The band formed in 2021 and released their debut album, Wild Hound, in 2024. They are currently working on their second album, which is due soon.
