WAOP Conference 2025 - Dinner tickets

The 'Working community of researchers in Work & Organizational psychology' is an association that stimulates Work & Orgzanizational psychological research in the Netherlands and the Dutch speaking part of Belgium. This concerns both applied and more fundamental research that relates to issues of work, organizational or personnel psychology.

The WAOP Conference of 2025 is set to take place on November 21st in Nijmegen. Organized by Radboud University, the conference will bring together scholars, practitioners, and students from the Netherlands, and beyond.

The theme of this conference—Strong Foundations, Sustainable Future—reflects the dual legacy of tradition and forward-thinking that characterises Dutch Work Psychology research and practice.

Dutch work psychology has consistently addressed the evolving issues that workplaces and workers face. These efforts have shaped the discipline locally and contributed to international advancements in work psychology.

This conference is organised to continue this tradition of researching work and providing the evidence needed to understand and shape it for the future. Join us in sharing and reflecting on the latest work psychology research and continuing to build our network of work psychologists in the Netherlands.

The conference host city shares much with the chosen conference theme. Known as the oldest city in the Netherlands, Nijmegen has foundations dating back to Roman times. Its rich heritage is evident in the city's architecture, museums, and archaeological sites, offering visitors a unique glimpse into the past.

The conference will take place at the Van der Valk Hotelin Nijmegen Lent.

Beyond its historical charm, Nijmegen is a vibrant, modern city. Its compact city centre is easy to explore, with cosy cafés, diverse restaurants, and boutique shops. The iconic Grote Markt square, the historic Valkhof Park, and the renowned Stevenskerk church are just a few of the highlights waiting to be discovered.
