Want to Become a Better Public Speaker? Practice With Us!
About this Event
Want to Feel More Confident Speaking in Front of People?
Maybe you have a presentation coming up at work. Maybe you want to stop getting nervous when you’re asked to speak in a meeting. Maybe you’d like to become a stronger storyteller, communicator, or leader.
Or maybe you just want to get better at talking in front of a room without your heart racing.
Come practice with us.
Franklin Toastmasters is a welcoming place to practice public speaking, communication, and leadership skills in a supportive environment.
You don’t need to prepare a speech. You don’t need public speaking experience. And you don’t need to become a member to visit.
What happens at a meeting?
You’ll see members practice prepared speeches, impromptu speaking, constructive feedback, meeting leadership, and other communication skills—all in an environment designed to help people improve through practice.
And yes, we have fun too.
Who should visit?
Come check us out if you want to:
- Feel more comfortable speaking in front of others
- Give better presentations at work
- Think faster when you’re put on the spot
- Become a stronger communicator or leader
- Practice speaking without the pressure of getting everything perfect
- Meet people who are working on these skills too
You can just watch. Seriously.
Visitors are always welcome, and there’s no pressure to participate. Come see how a meeting works, meet some people, and decide whether Toastmasters could help you reach your goals.
We meet every Thursday from 7:00–8:00 a.m.
Attend in person in Westerville, Ohio, or join us online via Zoom.
Give us one hour. You might discover that becoming a better public speaker is a lot more fun than you expected.
