Wanita has been hiding herself under a bushel and its time to excavate Australia's Queen of Honky Tonk to the betterment of the wild west. Archer (from gospel doom band "kangaroos with machine guns") is Gunna pick her up and drive her across the Nullarbor via bout 13 aged care homes and the burra bowls club and into the arms of the masses. They Gunna pickup Trevva the Mystical Enchanter too who's Gunna add his artistic edge to the various proceedings. Once they cross the borderline they'll link up with the brothers Dux heartsbeatin shootin cosmic moonbeams into outer space with ol Todd Pickett bangin' the shit outta anything he can get his hands on with his heart and soul. ------
Rachel Laven (USA) is a self-proclaimed “Outlaw Folk” artist whose music is steeped in the Texas songwriting tradition. Raised in a musical family in San Antonio TX, she wrote her first song at 10 and recorded a debut album with her family band, The Lavens, by 13. Her early start laid the foundation for a presence onstage that is sincere, assured, and soulful.
Shaped by influences like Susan Gibson, Brandi Carlile, Guy Clark, and Sheryl Crow, Rachel’s breakthrough came in 2016 when she won the prestigious New Folk Songwriting Competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival. That same year she released her second album, Love & Luccheses, showcasing warm vocals and intimate lyrics exploring love in all its forms.
Now based in Nashville TN and working on her third full-length album, Rachel has toured extensively across the U.S. and Europe, captivating audiences with her storytelling and stage presence.
