Nano Kino are the dream pop manoeuvres of Sarah Suri and Duncan Lloyd, with Tom English and Phil Morgan.
Introduced by a friend, Nano Kino's songwriting core was enshrined in a shared love for the Cocteau Twins, Women, Life Without Buildings and late 80’s house music. Emerging in 2012, the band's own creative journey was soon peppered with select single and EP releases, acclaimed critically yet remaining a well-preserved secret amidst the North-East live scene. The gestation of their album took somewhat longer, and wasn't to be rushed.
Here we are: the debut Nano Kino LP Object A will be available from September 4th, on vinyl, CD and download. A patiently-honed 14-track songbook infused with hypnotic rhythm, deft guitarwork, and swells of ethereal euphoria.
This special LP launch party is a joyful rarity, following recent singles Reset and Wipeout, and live activity variously in the company of Miki Berenyi Trio, Still Corners, Arab Strap, Lewsberg and more. Cluny2 is the venue of choice, with special guest supports to be announced.

TV Death present a compelling case for a band on the rise. Their synthesis of post-punk, psychedelic and garage rock subgenres feels organic and avoids pastiche, resulting in a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly unique. The lyrical landscape delves into a range of compelling themes, demonstrating a perceptiveness for the crumbling world around them and aligning them with the tradition of politically and socially engaged punk and post-punk artists.
Recent support slots with hard-hitting acts like Pigs X 7, Iceage, Frankie & the Witch Fingers and Opus Kink, as well supporting an all-star line-up of Lust For Life celebrating the Iggy album with Glen Matlock, Clem Burke and Kevin Armstrong, and the use of their track ‘Village Mentality’ in the film soundtrack of ‘The Killers Game’ featuring Dave Bautista and Ben Kingsley, has cemented the profile of the band.

Judith takes a stripped back, lo-fi approach to songwriting. Self reflective and honest, with lyrics that reflect on life’s journey with irony and sincerity, pulling elements of dream pop and post punk… influences stretch from The Velvet Underground and Big Star to Yo La Tengo and The Strokes, with a sharp focus on words and melody.
Judith has spent 2026 getting lost in the studio (literally), arranging and rearranging, in search of sound. Meanwhile, live outings, including a full band set in support of Ernie at King Street Social Club, have served as an introduction to Judith’s relatable open-book attitude.
