Wander into Winter - Guided Walk at RSPB Ham Wall
Fill your lungs with crisp fresh air, stretch your legs and get ready to Wander into Winter at RSPB Ham Wall.
From misty mornings to rich amber toned reedbeds, winter is one of the most atmospheric times to explore Ham Wall. The water bustles with wintering ducks, geese and other waterbirds, while Marsh Harriers patrol above in search of prey. Great White Egrets stand like ghosts among the reeds and Kingfishers bring vibrant flashes of colour to even the coldest days. Roving flocks of Goldfinch feed on seedheads, noisy Long-tailed Tits travel together along the treeline, and elusive Goldcrests dart amongst the branches.
Join us on this guided walk to Wander into Winter and discover the sights and sounds of the season at Ham Wall as we see how much of the winter wildlife we can spot as we soak up all the season has to offer!
Suitable for ages 10+.

Booking is essential - this is a ticket only event.

Adult RSPB member - £13
Adult non-RSPB member - £16
Child RSPB member -£7
Child non-RSPB member -£8.50
Suitable for ages 10+. Not suitable for babies or children under 10.
Please note booking fees apply. Booking fee is included in prices above.
Accessibility
The walk includes rough, possibly muddy, and uneven grass paths that are unsuitable for most wheels.
The route may include 14 steps to reach the top level of the Avalon Hide.
Toilets (including accessible toilet) are available at the beginning and end of the walk but not during it.
The guided walk will include periods of standing.
The walk will be at least 2 miles long.
