Join Peerless Rockville as we welcome local baseball experts Bill Hickman and Bruce Adams sharing their knowledge on the outstanding pitcher and later Montgomery County Commissioner (predecessor to the Montgomery County Council). This presentation will explore Johnson’s personal and professional life in the area, including meeting his wife and facing Casey at the Bat.

Included: There’s a legend that George Washington threw a silver dollar across the Potomac; Walter Johnson actually tossed one across a river.
