🎶 Saturday November 8th – Old School Meets New School @ Wally’s Groove World 🎶Get ready for a tribute to the legendary UK rave and bass scene and have a dig at the same time!
We’re blending classic vibes with today’s cutting-edge sounds, taking you on a journey from rave history to the beats of now. (Vinyl Only)
Because the one can’t survive without the other: We invited some Belgian scene veterans (the old school) and some young, wild forces (the new school):
- DJ SHOPLIFTER -
DJ Shoplifter is the stage name of Eline Zerelik, a Brussels-based DJ known for her eclectic and genre-blending sets. She has quickly gained recognition in the electronic music scene for her unique approach to mixing UK club sounds, bass-driven beats, dubby rhythms, and breakbeat influences.
Eline’s musical journey began with a deep appreciation for underground music, which has influenced her dynamic and freeform style. Her sets are characterized by an instinctive flow that seamlessly transitions between genres.
She has performed at notable festivals and venues, including Pukkelpop, Horst Arts and Music, and Kiosk Radio, showcasing her versatility and growing presence in the electronic music community in Belgium
On that not: Together with DC Noises she shared the turntables with Fred Again… Watch out for this girl 🥵

- MC EBONY -
Antwerp’s very own MC Ebony (Frederik Schnieders), 48-year-old Seefhoek native, took his name from the breakdance crew Maple & Ebony, symbolizing unity in different styles. He discovered jungle at 19 at Fried Chicken Records, hearing his first anthem by Goldie — and never looked back.
From pirate radios and the free party scene in the late ‘90s to hosting Rinse! parties with Motion Theory, MC Ebony became a steady voice in Belgium’s jungle and drum’n’bass culture. Inspired by the dancehall era and early jungle icons like Stevie Hyper D, MC Navigator, and MC Shabba D. Roots Manuva, his sharp flow and soulful energy made MC Ebony a trusted name behind the mic.
Having performed across London, Manchester, Barcelona, and the Netherlands, MC Ebony (also returns as the steady MC of Velocity Rave), a true mainstay with a deep love for jungle and the culture that shaped him.
- DC NOISES -
DC Noises , an Antwerp’s bass explorer:
His love for music started at home, digging through his father’s record collection, discovering jungle, UK garage, and the sounds of the British club scene. That passion carried him into Antwerp’s nightlife and beyond.
DC Noises blends jungle, speed garage, grime, and funky vibes into energetic, rolling sets full of cheeky wobblers and pounding breaks. He’s played not only across Antwerp but also in Brussels alongside Fred Again…, leaving his mark on the Belgian “underground”.
As co-founder of Freed, he brings British club culture to Belgium, always hunting for fresh sounds and rare vinyl treasures.

- BONAFIDE -
Antwerp-based selector Bonafide is a passionate record collector rooted in jungle and drum & bass.
With years spent behind the decks, his sets honor both genre pioneers and future talents. Influenced by artists like Paradox, Alaska, J-Majik, Peshay, Marcus Intalex, and Eveson, his collection spans iconic labels such as Good Looking, Moving Shadow, Metalheadz, and Renegade Hardware.
His selections shift between moods: from rolling drum & bass to classic and rare jungle gems, crafting sets that balance energy, storytelling, and authenticity.

- MOFE CREW -
DNB project by Johannes Van Heusden (A.K.A. Mogus)& Andreas Feas ( A.K.A Désir) - 2006–2012 -
Active in Antwerp’s underground drum’n’bass and jungle scene, they played across Flanders at venues like Hof ter Lo, Petrol, Trix, Decadance Ghent, Machine Leuven, and many more. As promoters, they organized events such as Rollout and DNB op’t Plein, creating a platform for upcoming local talent at the time.
Known for their diverse sets blending liquid, jungle, and neurofunk- they spent countless hours crate-digging at USA Import (RIP) & Wally’s Groove World- shaping their unique sound!
These days they play only occasionally, at intimate home parties — making their return to Wally’s, the place that helped form their musical roots, all the more special.
