Wallace & Gromit Marathon // MACHINE MADNESS (Animation Club)

All month long, Animation Club celebrates imaginative inventions gone wrong in a series called, "MACHINE MADNESS" From airships and doomsday devices lifted off the pages of Jules Verne, to faulty mechanized trousers, and sentient robot healthcare beds. Live action, stop motion, and old-school anime bring to life chaotic contraptions of all kinds, in all their absurd, destructive glory!

“MACHINE MADNESS” continues with the greatest British, cheese-loving, contraption-building, man and dog duo imaginable! In anticipation of Aardman’s newest Wallace & Gromit outing, we revisit the first three short films that skyrocketed them (to the moon and back!) to become two of the most iconic and loveable stop-motion characters of all time!

• 'A Grand Day Out' (1989) - On a quest for his favorite snack, Wallace takes Gromit on an out-of-this-world adventure to discover if the moon really is made of cheese.
• 'The Wrong Trousers' (1993) - Wallace takes in a mysterious lodger, but Gromit's suspicions are aroused when the new arrival shows interest in his master's techno-trousers
• 'A Close Shave' (1995) - Wallace and Gromit find themselves ensnared in a deadly mystery involving sheep rustling, a malevolent guard dog, and true love.

'ANIMATION CLUB' is an ongoing series that celebrates new and classic animated films from around the world! From studio titans to hidden indie gems; traditional 2D to stop-motion, 3D animation, experimental, and everything in-between!
