Light Within Loss: A Healing Gathering for Grief and Loneliness

As the holidays approach, feelings of grief and loneliness often deepen, bringing a unique weight to the winter season. This sacred healing ceremony invites you to embrace and honor these emotions in a safe, compassionate space. Whether your grief is recent or has long lingered, this gathering supports you in exploring and healing feelings of loss, loneliness, and heartache through communal reflection, journaling, and guided rituals. Sometimes, our grief is from the loss of a loved one, and it can also come from the loss of a dream or disappointment from things not turning out the way you expected.

What to Expect:

• Circle of Sharing: A gentle group discussion to openly share and support one another.
• Remembrance Altar Creation: This is an opportunity to honor departed loved ones by adding to a shared altar. To create a personal connection in this sacred space, you can add any type of sacred item, such as flowers, photos, or tokens of remembrance. You can even add something to symbolize an emotion, feeling, or state of being that you would like to invite back into your life, such as peace, joy, playfulness, etc.
• Journaling & Rituals: Guided exercises to navigate the complex emotions of grief, anger, resentment, loneliness, and more. Participants will have space to reflect on and release these emotions, surrendering them to spirit for healing and transformation.
• Reiki Healing Meditation & Sound Bath: Experience deep relaxation and inner peace with a soothing sound bath using Tibetan bowls and a Reiki-guided meditation to balance and harmonize your energy.

What to Bring:

• For the Altar: Items like flowers, photographs, crystals, or keepsakes can be presented as offerings. These tokens can also serve as a way to pay tribute to a past version of oneself or a desired state of being.
• Comfort Items: Water, a pen, a yoga mat, a pillow, or a blanket are good for comfort during sound healing. The studio also has extra mats and blankets you can borrow.
