About this Event

A special family friendly screening of 'Wall-E' (2008), part of our 'Kids Flicks' series at the Beecroft Cinema Club and Supermassive Space Weekend.

"We are all made of stars

Beecroft Cinema Club presents 'Kid's Flicks', screening family friendly films in the school holidays on the big screen at the Beecroft Art Gallery.

Join us at the Beecroft Art Gallery as part of Supermassive Space Weekend this summer for a 'Kid's Flick' screening of Oscar winning intergalactic adventure 'Wall-E' (2008).

In a distant, but not so unrealistic, future where mankind has abandoned a poluted earth, a loveable trash-compacting robot called WALL-E has been left to clean up the mess. Mesmerised with trinkets of Earth's history and show tunes, WALL-E is alone on Earth except for his pet cockroach, and increasingly lonely. One day, EVE, a sleek and dangerous reconnaissance droid, is sent to Earth to find proof that organic life is once again sustainable. Wall-E is smitten, and the two robots embark on a quest across the galaxy to reach the humans' spaceship, prove a new life on Earth is possible and restore hope to mankind.

Doors open and refreshments will be available from 11am and the film will start promptly at 11:30am (there are no adverts). There is no allocated seating.

The film's run time is 1 hour 38 minutes.

The film is rated 'PG' and this screening is open to all ages.
