This September, we will gather in Salt Lake City for two days of embodied pilgrimage:
Mornings of teaching and practice
Evenings of guided walks through rivers and views
Not as tourists, but as initiates—awakening the memory of unity, tasting embodiment through nature, feeling the Earth’s pulse moving through our limbs.
To walk in this way is to remember that the Mother does not live outside us—she lives within each step we take.
About Bruce Fertman
Bruce Fertman is one of the world’s most influential Alexander Technique teachers, with over four decades of experience training teachers internationally. He is the founder of the Alexander Alliance International, a school dedicated to cultivating presence, direction, and grace in everyday life.
He is also the recent co-author of Walking Well: A New Approach for Comfort, Vitality, and Inspiration in Every Step (2024), a book that reimagines walking as both a practical art and a spiritual path.
Bruce is known for his extraordinary sensory ability—his touch and presence awaken subtle perception in others, allowing students to rediscover balance, ease, and depth of movement. His teaching blends Alexander principles with an artistry of awareness, offering people a way to move with uncommon clarity and ease.
