Walking Tour | Sittard-Geleen Welcome Activity

Join our free guided walking tour for expats and locals in Sittard

Our local guide Lizette Colaris will host a two-hour walking tour for expats, internationals and local buddies in Sittard on Sunday 27 September 2026. The route will depend on the weather conditions. If it hasn't rained for a while, the walking tour will include a stroll through the beautiful nature in the Schwienswei, with a short break in the neighbouring (German) village of Tüddern. Lizette will plan an alternative route if the weather conditions are less congenial.

The tour will start on the Markt square in Sittard at 13:30 sharp and end at 15:30, with an optional extension to to enjoy drinks and bites in a relaxed atmosphere at one of the cozy bars in the city centre.

This is a free walking tour but a voluntary donation for the guide at the end of the walking tour would be highly appreciated.
