About this Event
Embedding culture in practice within early learning involves creating meaningful, everyday opportunities for children to connect with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.
This includes learning and resectfully sharing Australian history, with a focus on truth-telling, idenitity and understanding country.
Educators are support to embed cultural perspectives through storytelling, yarning and incorporating First Nations ways of knowing, being and doing.
Through hands on experiences this workshop will include dance, weaving and creative expression. These practices enrich children learning but also support children's identity, awareness and appriciation of the oldest living culture in the world.
