About this Event
Join us for an inspiring Death Positive Event exploring the intersection of spirituality and the journey of a care partner, offering practical insights for nurturing spiritual well-being throughout the journey.
Drawing from her book Walking Through the Valley of Dementia, Therese Fisher, Chaplain for Providence PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) and Spiritual Director, invites care partners to reflect on their own spirituality and how it shapes their caregiving experience.
Therese will speak on the unique challenges caregivers face, the ways spirituality can serve as a source of strength and connection as they approach the reality of facing the death of a loved one, and how moments of difficulty can also become places of deep meaning and understanding. Sharing how spiritual practices and teachings, both traditional and contemporary, can offer new perspectives, healing, and encouragement along the way, Therese is a gifted guide as we Walk Through the Valley of Demetia.
