Step into Manhattan's past and meet the settlers, families, and community builders who shaped our city during the territorial era. This program introduces the Walking Through History on the Linear Trail project - featuring ten historical markers, a student-designed webpage from the Chapman Center for Rural Studies, and a brand-new Coloring Book that brings local history to life for all ages. Join us as we explore how these stories connect to the Manhattan we know today. The presenters are some of the committee members who have worked for several years to complete the project - Charlene Brownson, Doreen Towne, and Holly Hill. This RCGS program is free and open to the public.
