Walking the Line
About this Event
Join the experts in Marriott's Way's railway history for this fascinating walk starting from the former Norwich City Station - once part of the Midland & Great Northern Line.
On this walk, part of Heritage Open Days, hear stories of passengers and personalities, wartime damage and accidental river 'dippers'; see historic photos and identify the remnants still visible today - much of which was unearthed by the Friends of Norwich City Station/the Norfolk Railway Heritage Group themselves.
The walk will begin at the Barn Road entrance to the Marriott's Way, and end at the Mile Cross bridge.
